I wanted to try a new editing software. And saw that many people like pixelmator. But there are both pixelmator and pixelmator photo on the AppStore. Have tried to find a comparison on the web without any luck. Can anyone here tell me what the differences are and which one to get. I currently use Adobe Lightroom CC mobile.

Pixelmator Photos is more like Lightroom. Pixelmator is more like Photoshop layer based editing. If Lightroom has worked for you up to this point, go with Pixelmator Photos. Ah okay thank you. P iOS is about single images. The healing brush in the iOS app is better than photoshop or affinity and the colour replacement tool requires no paths you just click with the eye Dropper, slide the refine slide and choose a colour to replace it with.
